  • It all begins with an interview with your personal airline recruiter. They will determine your eligibility, give you step by step information, match you with job opportunities and recommend you to those opportunities directly.

  • If you are accepted into the Academy you will be able to begin training immediately with our online distance learning course. Learn all the basics of safety, procedures and lifestyle at your own pace. Once your online lessons have been completed you will attend jetBlue University for resident hands on training for one week to earn your wings.

    Food, Housing and transportation provided.

  • At the graduation of your hands on training you will receive your certificate from the Academy as well as meet airline hiring managers in person where your placement team will help you decide on your new career path with the airlines.

  • Unlike open-enrollment training programs, The Airline Academy takes a selective approach to admissions. Every prospective student must complete an application and participate in an interview before being accepted into the program.

    This process is designed to identify candidates who demonstrate the professionalism, communication skills, personality, and personal qualities that airlines typically look for when hiring flight attendants. Rather than simply accepting anyone who can pay tuition, The Airline Academy focuses on training qualified, career-ready candidates who have the potential to compete for airline positions.

    By maintaining a selective admissions process from the beginning, The Airline Academy creates a more focused training environment while helping students understand what it takes to pursue a successful airline career.

  • Since our founding in 1972, The Airline Academy has been honored to have highly respected aviation professionals serve on our Advisory Board. Our board has included industry leaders and experienced professionals from Pan Am Airways, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and NetJets, providing valuable industry insight that helps keep our training aligned with the realities of an airline career.

Through its exclusive access training contract with jetBlue Airways, The Airline Academy gives students one week of resident, hands-on training at jetBlue University at the Orlando International Airport. Led by experienced instructors, this period covers safety procedures, service protocols, and emergency response, grounded in standards observed throughout the commercial airline industry.

Unique to The Airline Academy- students gain exclusive access to JetBlue University in Orlando, Florida, a state-of-the-art multi-million-dollar facility. This includes access to a full-motion simulator that meets FAR 121 standards, providing hands-on experience in a realistic aviation environment and more.

Our placement team works for you long after graduation — offering job placement assistance, continuous updates on nationwide airline openings, and relationships with 65+ airlines. Airline recruiters hire on-site at every graduating class, and with interview coaching, resume building, and access to our career services website, you'll never face your job search alone.
